Repurposed Garden Ideas

While I’ve seen blooming toilets overflowing with flowers, abandoned bed springs planted with garden flowers, and lush growth coming out of old tires, here are a couple repurposed gardening ideas I implemented this year.

An old grill, missing its vent covers is working great for a late season Kale crop.

It has drainage holes, deep planting medium, and wheels to move into the sun.

These are old beehive boxes. I stapled screens on the bottom to keep the soil in and the critters out. They will be planted with garlic bulbs in about a month.
