Hilltop Nature & Garden Center
“In the spring of 1948, Hilltop began its first season on a one acre alfalfa field belonging to the Indiana University Department of Botany which was re-designated as space for community gardening programs.”
Today, Hilltop serves as an educational resource for Indiana University students, staff, faculty and the surrounding community. Classes, workshops, and hands-on opportunities are available to learn about gardening and reconnect with nature. There are a variety of themed gardens to choose from including: a pollinator garden, herb garden, urban garden and more!
